Pick up yours today, check out the recipe below, and get ready to enjoy the most tender chicken. Happy grilling!

Beer Can Chicken

Ingredients:

-One whole chicken

-12 oz can of Beer

-3 Tbs of rub of your choice (don't have a favorite? Try our homemade chicken rub!)

Preparation:

-Sprinkle 1 Tbs of rub inside the body of the chicken, then rub 1.5 Tbs over the outside of the bird (pro tip - rub .5 Tbs under the skin for maximum flavor)

-Set up your grill for indirect grilling with a drip pan in the center, bringing it to a medium heat (about 350 degrees)

-Pop the top of the beer and remove about a half an inch from the top (we won't tell if you take a sip or two!) Make 3-5 small holes around the top of the can. Pour remaining rub in the can.

-Hold the chicken upright with cavity opening down and insert the beer can into the cavity

-Stand the chicken on the grill over the drip pan using the legs as support

-Cover the grill and cook until fall-off-the-bone tender, about 25-30 minutes per pound (if you're using a charcoal grill, add 10-12 fresh coals after an hour to maintain heat)

-Remove the chicken using tongs. Let it rest for 5 minutes before carving.

-Toss the beer can, pop open a fresh one for yourself, and enjoy!
